One knob, several jobs.
The volume of Windows, your mic, one app, the focused app or every other app. A screen’s brightness or contrast, Night light, a keyboard backlight, screen zoom. Tick several jobs in Settings, of any kind, and they all follow the knob or fader.

A flyout like Windows’ own.
Turn a knob and the indicator shows up on the screen that knob controls, in the style of Windows 11, with the app’s own icon for an app’s volume. Brightness lands once the knob settles, so a screen never flickers through every step.

2 of 4: Knob B
Turn Knob B back to 0%.
Start againSkipCancel
Finds your controls by itself.
Add a board and calibration opens: turn every knob and fader to 0%, then to 100%, then each one back to 0% in turn, and press each button three times. WeeJ learns which input each control is on, which way it turns and where its ends are. An SMC-Mixer needs none.
Any knob, any job.
One per knob, or several of any kind. Volumes follow the knob as it turns, the rest land once it settles.

Boards · DrawBoards · ListGeneral
Any number of boards.deej Arduinos, M-VAVE SMC-Mixers and other MIDI controllers side by side, each with its own port, profiles and calibration, each switched on or off on its own.
Your board, drawn.Settings draws each board as it sits on your desk. Move or press a control, or click it, to choose what it does, or switch to List to see them all.
The SMC-Mixer, ready to go.Its controls are known, over USB or Bluetooth, and its buttons light up in 29 patterns, from Fire and Rain to a binary clock and EQs that move with whatever your PC plays.
Buttons that do things.Play, pause and skip, mute an app or the mic, press a shortcut, open an app or a website, lock the PC, turn off the screens or switch profiles.
Lives in the tray.A left click opens Settings, a right click opens the menu. It reconnects on its own, can launch at login and installs updates in one click.
Real per-app volume.WeeJ turns the same slider you see in the Volume mixer. Nothing is captured or delayed.
Profiles on a shortcut. Each board has its own profiles, switched from the tray, a button or a shortcut from any app. One shortcut can switch several boards.
No jumps.A knob takes up a new job the next time you move it, so switching profiles never jumps the volume or a screen.
Follows your audio device.Switch outputs or inputs, Bluetooth headphones included, and the knobs follow.
Same firmware.Speaks the deej serial protocol, unchanged, at 9600 baud or whatever your sketch uses, with as many knobs as it sends.
Coming from deej?Import… reads your deej config.yaml as a profile. Profiles also export, for another PC or for TheeJ on a Mac.
Speaks 12 languages. It asks for yours on first launch, starting from Windows’ own, and switches at once, open windows included.
What you need
Windows
10 or 11, 32-bit or 64-bit
Board
Any deej over USB, an SMC-Mixer or any MIDI controller
External screens
DDC/CI turned on in the monitor’s menu
Anything else?
Nothing, Windows already has it all
Quit deej first: only one app can hold the board’s port. Quit Twinkle Tray or Monitorian too before a knob takes a screen, or the two apps fight over it.
